Privacy Policy

SOLA SPIN is a small business based in Toronto, Ontario, operating the SOLA SPIN store at pickleball.sola-spin.com and our jewelry line, Jelly Juin (jellyjuin.sola-spin.com). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and your choices under Canada's PIPEDA.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the site we may collect: your name, email, phone number, and shipping or pickup address; your order, paddle-trial, and pre-order details; basic sign-in data if you create an account (passwordless email link); and, if you subscribe to our email list, your email address and how you signed up.

If you submit a product review, the name and review text you provide may be displayed publicly on the site once approved. Your email is never shown.

On public SOLA pages, our analytics providers may collect the page you visit, general browser and device details, an approximate region, and interactions such as page views, scrolls, and outbound-link clicks. We do not intentionally send form-field values or contact details to analytics.

Why we collect it

To process orders, pre-orders, and trial bookings, arrange local Toronto pickup or Canada- wide shipping, calculate shipping cost, send order and sign-in confirmations, and, only if you opt in, send occasional product updates by email. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

How we store it and who we share it with

Your information is stored in our database and is never sold. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the store: our hosting and database providers, our email provider (for order and marketing email), and our shipping provider (to generate delivery quotes and labels when you choose shipping). Payments are made by card (processed by Stripe, our payment provider — we never see or store card numbers) or by Interac e-Transfer. Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and Cloudflare Web Analytics help us understand use of the public sites. Google Analytics may set analytics cookies.

Analytics choices

We do not load Google Analytics when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Google Analytics is also kept off Jelly Juin, preview and local sites, and private store routes such as account, admin, sign-in, review, unsubscribe, and order confirmation pages. You can opt out by enabling either browser privacy signal or by clearing Google Analytics cookies in your browser.

Retention & your rights

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or withdraw consent, at any time by emailing hello@sola-spin.com.
